Go back to work. Even if you DON’T need the money. They have done studies on ‘mother’s staying home vs. working mother’s…and the children whose mother’s decided to go back to work are no worse off in any category. I guarantee you the day will come when you will be so happy you decided to return to work. The family will have more money, you will have something that belongs to YOU and makes you proud. Remember, just because you had 2 children, and I assume you would do anything in the world for them…..it doesn’t mean a part of you died. Go online and do some investigating…you will find I am right. Be the best mother you can be, cultivate yourself, nurture yourself too.. and your children will have the role model they deserve.

hmm i think it’s good you did your pros and cons… maybe you should get part-time work in some other field? what about a part time job in a children’s clothing boutique or something, that’s just during the day when the kids are at school… or something different… idk i’m reaching here…

it sounds like you enjoy being home with the hub and the kids and it’s important to you… as it should be…

if you don’t need the extra income, i’d look for part-time work!

Personally i would not start a full time job! i never wanted to be one of those parents who worked all the time! So untill the kids are older and going to school daily and doing things with there friends alot etc… I think you should think about getting out of the house when they’re gone, go take some classes, or join some sort of club, or even just call some friends and meet up and talk about old times. Anything like that!

my personal opinion is that i would stay home but only because that is my dream.

anyway it really depends on what will make you the happiest. you love your job and your kids so see if you can’t have both. try job interviewing and see how flexible you can make your employer be with schedules. if you can’t seem to find the right fit for what you need i’d hold off.

your babies should be no. 1 right now they’re in a very developmental stage and need lots of mental stimulation from you and your husband so you need to make sure you have lots of time for them. try for a job but make sure this job will work with you.

I would start working again, however if I am not working I don’t feel like I am benefiting anyone around me. Everyone is different you should do what is best for your children.

The game Scruples is good, but not all questions are school appropriate, so ask a parent to screen them for you. Zobmondo is also a good one, but again, either get the kid’s version or have an adult screen the questions for you. They’re not all school appropriate. You might also try The Ungame. I believe those questions are fine for all ages, but check first. This sounds like a fun assignment!

Playhouse Disney has worked very well for us, even on our aging computer. A 4-year-old can easily learn to navigate through the site and play the games. I believe Jo-Jo had some of the most compelling number games, and Disney is always adding content.

honestly hun i would stay home with the kids.
that seems like the best way to handle it.
if you get bored try joing a book club or working out, yoga is also great.
tons of other women are in the same postion. your kids are in one of the best times in their lives. so be there while you can.
